Family proves a complication at the café

When a witch has “one of those days,” and the inconveniences pile up, only right to get suspicious. But none of the issues warrant shutting down the café. Just one accident after one snafu after another mishap. All easily explainable. All easy to ignore.

Still, Nina suspects something suspicious when the irritations continue all morning. And when even Boo’s stool starts to wobble, she knows something needs to be done.

Finding the source of all the mischief means calling in her friend-crush Rhys Witherby. And letting his brother, the vampire-wizard Virgil, into the café. Except Virgil and Nina do not get along. Putting the two of them in the same space might be a bigger problem than all the suspicious irritants.

Or it might solve a whole bunch of problems. And only Virgil can decide the outcome.
