Have they let too much time pass…

Two years ago, Sam ran away from one of the most important people in his life, after making one of the biggest mistakes of his life. Breaking a promise made to his best friend. Coming back after all that time to make amends proves harder than he anticipates, though. Especially when he sees Becky again. And all the feelings he thought behind him return with a vengeance.

When Sam disappeared right after her brother’s funeral, Becky vowed to finally, once and for all, get over the man she’d been in love with for most of her life. But then Sam calls out of the blue, after no word for two years, and all those memories and feelings come rushing back. She considers ignoring his request to meet. Part of her knows she shouldn’t see him again, shouldn’t take this risk. But she’s known Sam her entire life, and she just can’t resist seeing him. One more time.

With one chance to fix their mistakes, one chance to make good on broken promises, Sam and Becky have to lay their cards on the table, and see if they can start to heal all the hurt they’ve caused each other. Or if this will be the last time they ever meet. Letting go of a love that could change everything.

If you're interested in some of my other romance stories, I recommend trying DESIGNED FOR YOU, a contemporary romance with an unconventional HEA. Or if you don't mind a little paranormal in your romance, consider trying ROMANCING THE LEOPARD, or ONCE UPON A TIGER.
