Zelda finds things. Small things. Innocuous things. Things that other people overlook. Or don’t even think about. What she takes rarely proves valuable in the traditional sense. So she never considers herself a thief. But that might just be splitting hairs.
The job her partner Jonesy brings her this time, though, could spell disaster if she fails. No one likes messing with witches. So meeting Jonesy at the witch run café, agreeing to meet the client there, means Zelda might get out of the job without trouble.
Either that, or her descendants will hate her for the generational curse.
Good thing the café serves tasty treats. Zelda’s gonna need them.
