Birthday present treats and a little bit of luck…
Molly treats herself to a special present every birthday. After saving all year, she visits her favorite bookstore and gifts herself a shopping spree. And this birthday, a recommendation and a kind word give her an additional, unexpected present.
The café next to the bookstore provides a cozy place to settle in on a gloomy winter day. Good people watching. Deliciously rich cake. Excellent cappuccino. And a fresh stack of books. What more could Molly want?
Maybe a little luck. And a chance meeting. And a memory she’ll carry forever.
