Thanks for reading!

Not everyone loves books

Kassidey realizes her hatred of books edges toward the irrational. But she does have a fair reason for that violent hatred. Trapped by circumstances with books, in a library she shouldn’t possess, and her only way out continually moving beyond her reach. Anyone in her place would detest books as much as she did.

So when her lawyer schedules their meeting at a café attached to a bookstore, Kassidey assumes her lawyer is trolling her. If she didn’t need Veronica’s help so desperately, she would have refused. But Veronica represents Kassidey’s only way out of her predicament.

Because if they can’t fix the mess, the library will suck Kassidey dry.
